Correction process and policies
The CMAJ News team corrects both major errors (e.g., factual errors, errors in the author byline or affiliations, errors that cause ambiguity or change meaning in an article, missing or wrong references) and minor errors (e.g. typos, broken links) in articles published on CMAJnews.com.
In the case of major errors requiring corrections that impact the accuracy or meaning of an article, the news editor will add a note to the article explaining the change.
For information on corrections to articles published on CMAJ.ca or in print, please visit the “Editorial Policies” page on CMAJ.ca.
